Our yarns are spun at our Devon Mill using vintage machinery and made from breed specific sheep fibre (locally farmed whenever possible) and high grade, ethical silk and alpaca. You will find each of our yarn ranges along with corresponding kits and shadecards.
We do recommend that our yarns are gently washed before use. We don’t do any washing or conditioning after the yarns are spun and skeined, and they will plump up after a gentle hand wash. If you untwist the skeins, soak them in cool water (with a wool wash if preferred) then gently squeeze out the water and hang to dry. You will be surprised at the difference it makes.
