Apple Blossom Shawl Kit (Annual Four)
We now offer handy kits for all our patterns in The Annual (issue four). This is the adorable Apple Blossom Shawl kit by Ashley Lee, and all kits include enough yarn to knit the shawl, along with a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting! Please be aware that the kit does not include a copy of the Annual as we know some of you will have ordered them separately.
This pattern evokes the texture of vintage broderie anglaise and delicate clusters of apple blossom and leaves. Worked in either Appledore Lace or Knit by Numbers 4ply, the small shawl can be worn close around the neck with a little knot, while the large shawl can be draped around your shoulders. Both are perfect for strolling around the garden and beyond. This triangular shawl with an all-over lace pattern and eyelet motif border is suitable for those new to lace, while also providing enough interest for more advanced knitters.
