Laura recently travelled across the Atlantic to see a total eclipse of the sun. It was an out-of-this-world experience that inspired her to make a whole new set of Dark Matter colours! To celebrate this sunny theme, these glorious piles of floof are that bit brighter and more vivid than our previous collection.
You helped us choose the previous special edition shade of ‘Dark Matter,’ our beautiful blend of Falklands Merino with a hint of Silk and Alpaca, buttery soft and lustrous to spin up into scrumptious skeins of yarn – and you wonderful folks have helped again.
It was a very close call, but you eventually decided that Flare was the favourite, and we just adore this zingy coral reminiscent of summer sunsets. We love the mix of vivid orange, with softer lavender and pink . But of course you splendid topstastic spinners get to snaffle all four shades and make your own yarn!

Eclipse – This fiery little number has all our hearts racing. The mix of warm reds, purples and pinks in our Eclipse top truly encapsulate our Dark Matter theme this summer, creating a shade that reminds us of a cheeky summer cocktail, or cozying up next to a firepit on a summer’s eve.
Solstice – With it’s mix of jewel toned joyousness, we are all a little bit in love with Solstice. Rich purples, and burgundy make up this shade, and combine with those flashes of turquoise that remind us of long summer evening skies, just after the sun goes down.
Aurora – Soft purples and blues combine in a delicious mix that remind us of hazy summer days, looking up at a blue sky with flashes of white cloud. Aurora is a dreamy blend, and we adore how the slivers of silk play with the turquoise, blue and violet merino.
