The Melisma Scarf’s elegant cables twirl and flow across the backdrop of ribbing like lines of a melody and, with only a handful of cable crosses on most of its right side rows, it makes for a breezy and satisfying knit. We just adore the fringe!

Finished Measurements
Relaxed after blocking: 72.5”/184cm length, and 10 (14.5)”/25.5 (37)cm width.
The length can be increased by working additional repeats of the ‘Cable Pattern’ (44 rows per repeat), and the width can also be increased by adding 32 stitches to the cast on. Shown in narrower width option (10”/25.5cm).
Gauge
28 stitches and 24.5 rows = 4”/10cm in cable pattern, relaxed after blocking.
Each 32-stitch 44-row repeat measures 4.6”/11.5cm wide and 7.2”/18cm long.
Needles
US 7 / 4.5mm needles (or needle size that gives you the right gauge) for working flat.
