We now offer handy kits of this pattern. All kits include enough yarn to make the sweater, a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting! We do not stock the pattern ourselves, but you can buy it from Astrid on her Ravelry page, here.
This stunning, snuggly beauty of a sweater is most definitely on all our ‘to make’ lists here at the mill. Astrid Tueting, of Knitting for Passion has created this oversized sweater to help keep us cosy whatever the weather and we love it! It’s casual, oversized fit makes it oh so wearable, and it’s textured design keeps us captivated all the way through the making of it. But while this sweater might look complex, the pattern is actually very easy to make and follow along.
Astrid chose our Appledore Aran to make this design and we can’t think of anything better. It’s mix of Devon Closewool, Romney and Exmoor Blueface blocks out the wind and keep us warm when we’re walking on the moors, while giving the fabric the lustre and bounce to show off those textured stitches.
We do not stock the pattern ourselves, but you can find it on Astrid’s Ravelry page here.
