Perennial Blooms Cowl Kit (Annual Four)

£31.25 - £93.75

We now offer handy kits for all our patterns in The Annual (issue four). This is the Perennial Blooms Cowl by Marie Wallin, and all kits include enough yarn to knit the cowl, along with a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting! Please be aware that the kit does not include a copy of the Annual as we know some of you will have ordered them separately.

Perennials are the mainstay of any floral border. Much like stranded colourwork, their striking array of blooms can be used to astonishing effect by an experienced gardener. When knitted, both Marie’s own British Breeds yarn and our Harvest Hues 4ply create the perfect layer to keep out the chill. Incorporating up to 14 colours, this cowl mimics the visual treat of a garden bursting with flowers, while a palette of just five shades gives the air of a classic floral bouquet.

Perennial Blooms Cowl is knitted in the round using the stranded colourwork technique. Only two colours are used in each round; choose your colours so that one dark colour and one light colour are used together.
