We now offer handy kits of this pattern. All kits include enough yarn to make this splendid hat, a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting!
In our humble opinion, you can’t really beat a cabled hat pattern. Not only does it keep you warm through these colder months, but Thea’s Plymouth Gin hat keeps you looking stylish too! We don’t stock the pattern ourselves, but you can get it from Thea’s Ravelry, here.
The open ovals of Thea’s cables feature elegant lines and classic twists within their centres, but it’s the way each lines up against the next oval that makes this hat so striking. The bold vertical lines allow for a nice contrast and create little diamonds as they come and go. The unisex cap is designed with a modern silhouette, including extra depth at top and a deep ribbing that flows right into the cable pattern on the brim. What a beauty!
Thea has made her samples using Yarnadelic Worsted and Appledore Aran! Yum.
