As part of our annual Mill Open Weekend shenanigans, we always create a limited-edition mini collection of yarn and tops to help celebrate in style. This year we’ve been even more excited than usual, as we’ve been collaborating with some rather fabulous designers! Emily Wessel (Tin Can Knits), Aleks Byrd, and Ysolda Teague-Long have each created custom shades of our beloved Yarnadelic.

We have knitted up some samples using these special shades of Yarnadelic in a few of our favourite designs by Emily, Aleks and Ysolda. The Willowbank Shawl by Ysolda is a favourite here at the mill. Not only is it the cosiest wrap (made even cosier in our lofty Yarnadelic!), its beautiful feather-like lace stitch pattern is a thing of beauty, and so addictive and fun to knit! As with all of Ysolda’s patterns, the Willowbank pattern has detailed instructions and super-neat construction.
